ーー What inspired you to work at SG Group?
I was 25 at the time and exploring opportunities to work abroad. A bartender friend introduced me to Shingo Gokan, the founder of SG Group, and that connection eventually led me here.
ーー What is your current role and responsibilities?
I currently serve as the Director of SG Group's subsidiary, SG&SONS Co., Ltd. My background and skills as a bartender allow me to contribute in several areas, including:
•Consulting services
•Drink menu development
•Liquor production
•Event appearances
•Catering services
•Product development and sales
ーー What is important to you in your work?
Regardless of the task, I prioritize a “three-way satisfaction” approach, ensuring that our work is beneficial not only to us and our clients but also to society as a whole. I also try to understand our clients’ needs deeply, often aiming to anticipate their expectations and deliver even greater value.

Beyond traditional operations, the consulting team I belong to, called SG Mission, allows us to reimagine what it means to be a “daytime-working bartender,” offering a new approach to how bartenders work. Personal Bio
•2010: Entered the culinary industry as a chef at Azamino Ukai-tei in Yokohama, where I learned both French and Japanese cuisine.
•2013: Began my career as a bartender at Bar Jusakon in Sagamihara.
•2014: Joined ANA InterContinental Tokyo, working as a bartender at MIXX Bar & Lounge.
•2016: Moved to Shanghai to work at SG Group’s first bar, Speak Low, under the mentorship of Shingo Gokan.
•2018: Promoted to Head Bartender at Speak Low.
•2022: Joined SG Group’s Tokyo External Business Division, contributing to the expansion and innovation of drink culture beyond the traditional bar setting.
•2024: Appointed as a Director at SG&SONS Co., Ltd.
