ーー What inspired you to work at SG Group?
It was actually Instagram. While working as a bartender in Osaka and planning to move to Tokyo, I saw a job post for The SG Club on Instagram and felt an instant connection. I immediately sent a direct message and soon decided to move to Tokyo without even securing a place to live.
ーー What is your current role and responsibilities?
I am the Head Bartender at The SG Club, overseeing quality control of cocktails, developing new menus, and training bartenders. I also serve as the store’s ambassador, participating in guest bartending events abroad.
ーー What is important to you in your work?
Creativity is paramount. For a bartender, the ability to imagine and create is the most crucial skill.
ーー What makes SG Group attractive?
The ability to constantly take on new challenges. Meeting and working with highly motivated colleagues who push each other to excel is incredibly inspiring.
Personal Bio
I started my bartending career in Osaka at 19. After attending a master class by Shingo Gokan, who had just won a world cocktail competition, I began studying bartending seriously. After gaining experience as a Bar Manager in Osaka, I joined SG Group in 2021 and became Head Bartender of The SG Club in 2024.
