ーー What inspired you to work at SG Group?
At 18, I read an article about Shingo Gokan winning the Bacardi Legacy World Championship, which inspired me to become a bartender. I moved from Iwate to Tokyo at 20 and started working at a bar in Ginza. After enjoying a year in the industry, I visited "Angel's Share" in NY to meet Gokan, who had inspired me. Impressed by the cocktails and bartending, I directly asked to work with him and joined SG Group in January 2018. By June, I was part of the founding team of The SG Club.
ーー What is your current role and responsibilities?
I am currently the bar manager at The SG Club, leading the team. My duties include quality control, new menu development, and staff training.
ーー What is important to you in your work?
While maintaining a broad perspective, I focus on and enjoy the task at hand. I take pleasure in growing through my work as a bartender. Working with my team, whom I consider family, is crucial to our success.

Personal Bio
I started my career at a bar in Ginza at 20, honing my skills in Japanese-style bartending. I joined SG Group in 2018, participating in the opening of The SG Club. I was promoted to senior bartender at 25, and in 2023, I became the bar manager. Known as “Oma,” I continue to lead a diverse and talented team.
